    -A godly mother

-A house church in Asia Minor

    -The church.

    Explanation:

The Gospel of the Book of 2 John is the 24th book in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. This book contains just one chapter in the whole span, with 13 verses. The book serves as a warning against false prophets and beliefs, false teachings about Jesus Christ etc.

John addressed this book to "The elder, To the lady chosen by God and to her children ... " with no further explanation or referencing for any particular receiver. This has led many scholars and theologians to try to find out the directed recipient of this particular letter. Some believe that it was for an elder, godly woman and her children while others thought of "the elect lady" as representative of the church. The church had been sometimes referred to as a lady, taking care of her children "the believers". Also, there are some beliefs that the letter is for a house church in Asia Minor where the believers had been gathering.
