5. The study by Fuchs and Westervelt found that only around 0.01% of studies are associated with research misconduct. What are some of the reasons (list at least two) why this number doesn't reflect the actual extent of misconduct in scientific studies?

    Because if the researchers believe that they have a problem with the research results it leads them to believe that there is an error in all the process. If what the researchers found was an error, this error does not enter the research it is discarded from the study.
