    The fire in Australia began because of extreme heat. There were drought conditions prevailing in the country from a long period of time which gave rise to start the firing. In effect with drought conditions, strong winds also started to blow. The record - breaking heat wave conditions were the reason that the fire started in Australia.

    Some people also believe that the electric fire was transformer was the reason which started the bush fire.
