Applying charles darwin's "survival of the fittest" to human society, social thinkers justified the rising disparities in wealth and power in america and argued against any government role in equalizing opportunity. discuss and explain how social darwinists misapplied darwin's theory.

    Answer: darwin was talking about animals

    Explanation: darwin was referring to how old genetics dying out because they were useless compared to the mutations. ex. a bird (with a genetic mutation) with a narrow beak could get bugs easily while wide beaks could not do they straved hence birds with narrow beaks became prominent because it was a useful adaptation. money is not genetic therefore it's not 'survival of the fittest'
