The Book of Hebrews in the Bible is addressed to the people of Hebrew. It was believed by some scholars that this book was meant for the Jewish Christians in Jerusalem.

The book consists of 13 chapters, which details the advice of mostly believed to be Apostle Paul to the believers to persevere even when persecuted. Though the authorship of this book is not known fully, it is widely believed that Paul wrote it, among his many other letters in the New Testament. At that time, there were numerous instances of persecution faced by the believers, which prompted some to even return back to their original faith, i. e. Judaism. This book revolves around that matter, urging them to stay firm in their faith and not lose hope in God.
