Integrity vs despair: This is the last stage of Erick Erickson's theory. This stage occurs at the middle age of the 60 s. This is also called the late adulthood stage. At this stage, people show their integrity vs despair which is called a sense of satisfaction and a sense of guilt.

people who are satisfied feel accomplished from their lives and people who failed in their lives create a sense of guilt and feel sad, unhappy. The people who feel unsatisfied, they have a sense of should have, could have been and sense of life wasted. These people feel life ends with bitterness, despair, and depression.
