Why did the european empires in the americas have such an enormously greater impact on the conquered people than did the chinese

European conquest of American people exposed the native Americans to the Europeans who were using superior weapons against the native counterpart. the use of gun powder was known to Europeans and even their inferior weapons were far more productive to the native Americans counterpart. Secondly, Europeans have used horses which gave them greater mobility in the warfare. Moreover, the diseases brought by Europeans proved devastated for native Americans.
