Answer:According to the Galatians, one who belong to Christ has decided to kill worldly and fleshly desires on the cross.

Naturally every human being longs for worldly things and can't control our flesh desires but as soon as an individual is in Christ, there will be no such need as our focus will be on Christ.

Christ is in spirit and those that are in him must also be in spirit The flesh desires would not permit one who is in Christ to live by the spirit. For such individual in Christ, all sinful acts must be killed and crucified on the cross.
