    Explanation:

    Makeup was a big part of Egyptian lifestyle. They used copious amounts of it, believing it gave them protection from the gods Ra and Horus.

    It was mostly common to wear makeup around the eyes. They used it for personal beautification as well as religious ceremonies and to prepare the deceased for burials.

    They used galena and malachite powder which gave them colors to produce mostly eyeliner.
