    Option B

    Explanation:

From the definition of a crowd, A crowd is large group of people arranged in an unorganized way.

Just to add, A crowd is formed when their is particular interest, something must bring people together, i. e a crowd cant exist without an interest.

So from the question above, one characteristics of crowd is the existence of a common focus, which makes option D a characteristics of a crowd.

Secondly, Most crowd are always not organised, and the behavior of such crowd, most times is always herd like, which makes option A and C a characteristics of a crowd.

Only option B explains that individuals involved are often seen as unstable and are prone to being swept up in emotion, this does not happen happen in all cases of a crowd, they are interested in a common goal, yes they can unstable and sometimes they can be stable, it all depends on the interest and mannerism, so option B does not explain a characteristics of a crowd.
