    Explanation: The Code of Hammurabi was put forth by the king to serve as retribution or make who ever in his kingdom that felt he or she has been wrong happy. The code was neither fair to the weak nor was it trying to give more social power to women. Although the king laid curses on any person or king after him who will want to either change or ignore the law but it wasn't meant to stop any man from challenging him as king.
