    True

    Explanation:

As it has already been stated by the Malthus that population on the planet grows in an arithmetic ratio as compared to the food supplies in a geometric ratio and the demand and supply of the resources in the earth are already limited and finite and thus the world is now lacking in resources to meets the future demands to support the growing population. Many of the middle-class economies will have a population of 4.9 billion by the year 2030, and thus Asia and Africa will be the hub of the growing population that continues to double itself at a very fast rate.
