Psychoanalyst view: the four-year-old boy does not want to sleep. And he has unconsciously learned how to stay awake by saying he is afraid.

Behaviorist view: there are always positive responses such as cuddling, smile, candies anytime given him anytime he says he is afraid. So he does that every time.

    Explanation:

A psychoanalyst believes in the consciousness of the mind. And that people can be cured by making conscious their unconscious thoughts.

A behaviorist believes that our behavior and actions are based on our condition and environment.
