The Hellenistic Era begins after the death of Alexander the Great. The Hellenistic era is known for its achievements and spreading its culture throughout West and Central Asia, and the Mediterranean. It experienced in prosperity and improvement in the fields of science, literature, philosophy, art and architecture. The Romans choose some features from Greek, which included architecture, philosophy, and deities. They adopted the Greek gods with their characteristics though they decided to change their names.
