Nausicaa was timid due to the nakedness of Odysseus.

However, the gods encouraged her and she showed that she was epitome of a good hostess.

    Explanation:

Immediately Nausicaa saw a body washed up the shore, she moved close to see who the person was. When she discovered that he was Odysseus and he was also naked, she felt ashamed and timid. However, the gods were able to encourage her and she developed confidence. Afterward, she assisted Odysseus and also showed her kindness and hospitality.
