Ache babies are carried nearly every minute of the day and do not walk until around age 2 years. This is partly because Ache children prefer to be carried. What are the differences in gross motor development at age 6 years between Ache children and children who are not carried exclusively for so long?

    The answer is - There are no differences

    Explanation:

    The options are;

    a. Ache children are much less active

    b. Ache children are considerately less coordinated

    C. There are no differences

    D. Remarkably ache children are more advanced

    The answer is C - There are no differences.

    Ache babies cry for a longer time than most babies, unlike other babies they prefer to be carried and hence do not start to walk until around when they get to the age of 2 years. However there are no gross motor development differences at age 6 between ache children and children who are not carried exclusively for a long time. Gross motor skills are big movements that babies are able to make to move their whole body such as running, jumping etc.
