Do you think Rowe's criticism of the soul-making theodicy is cogent? Can you conceive of a world that has slightly less suffering than our world has, yet in which plenty of soul-making takes place? Explain.

    Answer: Yes it is cogent.

    Such world do not exist.

    Soul making does not exist

Explanation: Rowe's criticizism of soulmaking theodicy, is the simplest and the most clear evidential criticism of soulmaking.

According to Rowe, "there exist instances of intense suffering which an omnipotent, omniscient being could have prevented without thereby losing some greater good or permitting some evil equally bad or worse. An omniscient, wholly good being would prevent the occurrence of any intense suffering it could, unless it could not do so without thereby losing some greater good or permitting some evil equally bad or worse. There does not exist an omnipotent, omniscient, wholly good being" (Rowe 1979: 336).

This is the only clearly stated argument for evidential theory of soul making. Rowe said that if God exist, they will be no evil, and people will not suffer, because evil is the cause of suffering. Because God those not exist, humans has its own power and will to do anything they like.

The existence of an omniscience and omnipotent God has been used as an evidential prove of soul making theodicy. But since it is clear from Rowe's criticizism that if God exist, they will be no evil (that cause suffering) or his doesn't have the power to take away evil which means he is not an omniscience and omnipotent God, therefore such God doesn't exist and soul making doesn't exist.

They is no planet that has less suffering that this planet, Because it is assumed that such planet is were God stays and souls are made there. But Rowe's criticizism has explain the non existent of Omnipotent and omniscience God, therefore such planet does not exist
