It is a political and social movement that was started by Martin Luther King. This protest had an idea that both African Americans and White people have the same right when it comes to public transport. It escalated when a AM woman, named Rosa Parkins, was arrested because she didn't want to get up from her seat, so a white person could sit. This protest lasted for 13 months and was pretty successful.
