If you think the probability of getting A on an exam is 10%, while the probability of getting B on the exam is 30%, what is the probability of getting A or B on the exam?

    Probability of "A" is 10% = 1/10

    Probability of "B" is 30% = 3/10

    The probability of A of B = P (A) + P (B)

    = (1/10) + (3/10)

    = 4/10

    = 2/10
