    It resulted in the Europeans looking towards Africa for slave labour.

    Explanation:

    The decimation of the Native American population greatly reduced the available manual labour in the Americas. The Europeans being expansionist in nature required a great deal of manual labour and thus were looking for an alternative which they found in Africa. The African Slave Trade is one effect of this decimation.
