In common sense the term personality is used to describe a person's striking characteristics, such as "that person is extroverted or that girl is shy" and etc., but the concept of personality is related to changes in skills, attitudes, beliefs, emotions, desires, and the individual's constant and particular way of perceiving, thinking, feeling and acting, in addition to the interference of cultural and social factors in these characteristics.

Popularly, personality is attributed as being good or bad, but in psychology it must be oblivious to this value judgment, and then the study of the characteristics that differentiate individuals.
