Courts settle disputes by using laws. Courts also make sure that a fair trial was given and to see if the law was applied correctly to the case.

    Explanation:

Courts play an important role in society to protect the constitutional rights of people and provide equal protection under the law. Courts can resolve the disputes between any unit of government, companies, and peoples using the law.

The courts ensure that law is open for everyone by its rulings. Also, the courts will cross-check that the trial was fair and the given ruling was justified. A court is divided into 3 layers: Trial court - the cases actually start first. Intermediate - First-ever hearing of appeals. Last resort - further appeals and hearings until the case is closed.
