In a population of adult butterflies there are a variety of colors ranging from orange to white. The individuals that are the brightest orange survive better than lighter individuals because of predators. This is an example of which type of selection?

    Explanation: Directional selection also called positive selection, is a form of natural selection in which natural forces of nature favours an extreme phenotype over other phenotype I. e when environmental pressure favours one phenotype more than another invariably forcing a population to evolve towards a trait.
