    A cohort study

    Explanation:

Cohort study is a specified form of a longitudinal study that represents a cohort (a group of person who shares an explainable characteristics, especially those who have experienced a similar event during a particular period, for example, graduation or birth), executing a cross-section at different intervals of time.

Advantage: Investigators can examine various outcomes simultaneously.

Disadvantage: Researchers may have to follow the subjects for a longer period, and this can be time-consuming as well as expensive.
