In regards to voluntary migration, it is often the pull factors they are stronger motivations.

In regards to forced migration, it is often the push factors that provide stronger motivations.

    Explanation:

With voluntary migration, the migrant will be motivated by higher wages, better living conditions or alternative climates in the destination country. The push factor connected to this might be lower GDP. Getting higher wages in the destination country and sending it back as remittance to the country of origin.

Forced migration will be caused by push factors such as famine and war in the country of origin. A pull factor might be that the destination might be that it has a stable government or food security.
