Foreshadowing has been used at many places.

    Explanation:

Foreshadowing is used by authors in their writing to increase tension in the story. There are many places where 'Elie Wiesel' has used foreshadowing in 'Night'.

In one example, Moishe was the one who knew about the atrocities German Nazis did on the Jews. He did warn Jews about it

That night Mrs. Schachter shouted "Fire! I see a fire! I see a fire!" (fire at Birkenau) which was a warning about what was going to happen but no one believed her instead started beating her. But her strong feeling about something going to happen finally happened when few prisoners were thrown in crematory.
