    Answer:The courier was the person in charge to carry and delivery letters to very rich people.

    Explanation:

    At the Renaissance age did not exist the postal service that we know today. however, very rich people could access to this service by hiring a courier. He could deliver them very quickly, They were usually used by the town councils tso they could keep communication with different countries such as Italy, Germany, French, among others.
