    This can also happen without us being aware when our memory is distorted maybe because we are in a new environment being exposed to different kind of living than what we are used to may lead to unconscious reconstruction of memory.

    You may start to forget what you were taught in your culture when you start to live with people of another culture or ethnicity this may occur unconsciously.

    Leading question may lead us to lie maybe because being honest will get us into trouble hence we find ourselves changing what we remember in order to rescue ourselves.
