Why do children in Asian countries like China or Japan tend to recall less from their early years than children from North American countries?

    They are not given the same amount of opportunities to talk with parents about past events.

    Explanation:

    Parents in China and Japan have stringent work rules that does not afford them much time to spend with their children compared to parents in North America. Thus the children in China and Japan do not spend sufficient amount of time with their parents and hence do not talk much about past events.
