    1. Barack Obama: He was an Illinois senator and a first-term U. S. senator who became the country's first African American president in January 20, 2009. Also, Obama was also the first sitting U. S. senator to win an election to the presidency right from the time of John F. Kennedy in 1960.

    Joseph Biden: He was the 47th vice president of the United States of America who worked closely with Barack Obama. Biden is the first Catholic and first Delawarean to become a vice president of the United States of America.

    3. Sarah Palin: Sarah was the first woman to appear on a Republican presidential ticket. She was nominated by Sen. John McCain to become his vice presidential running mate in the presidential election of the United States of America in 2008.

    4. Hilary Clinton: In 2016, Clinton won the Democratic Party nomination when she was nominated for president of the United States of America. This made her to become the first woman to be nominated by a major political party. Also, as recorded for an American election, she became the first woman to win the popular vote in such election but lost to Donald Trump.
