    conditioned stimulus

    Explanation:

conditioned stimulus is a certain stimuli that eventually will give a special effect to a certain subject after being paired to a certain situation for a prolonged period of time.

For example, Bell usually does not give special effects whatsoever to dogs.

But, if that Bell ringed every single time before the owner of the dogs give them food, Eventually the dogs will associate the Bell with feeding time. Over time, the Dogs will start to salivate everytime they hear the sound of the Bell.
