Were the colonists justified in declaring the independence? (I need at least 4 reasons)

    Of course they were!

    Explanation:

    The brotish were highering their taxes way too much and bringing colonists to poverty.

    The british soldiers in America would abuse the colonists and recieve no punishments.

    The british would demand for colonists to come back to the mainland for judgment against a crime.

    The colonists woukd bnot be given any rights compared to the mainland citizens of the british such as the freedom of speech, to bare arms, press, or peacably assembly.
