    The personal unconscious: this refers to the repressed thoughts and pulses and individual has, which may have resulted from his/her interaction with the environment. The collective unconscious: it includes historical and collective elements which have been shaping humankind to act in a certain way towards different situations, sharing this psychological structure. According to Jung, this type of unconscious is hereditary and has been constructed through society, he names them the archetypes.
