The massacre was the result of teaching Indians a lesson who were protesting against the British.

    Explanation:

The British officer, General Dyer was totally against the Indians protesting against the Britishers. He wanted to teach the Indians a lesson who were protesting against the British authority. This led to the jallian wala bagh massacre on April 13th, 1919. This led to the killing of atleast 379 people and around 1200 were wounded. The satyagrah movement was started by Gandhiji to adopt the methods of non violence and truth to fight against the rule of the British people. After this movement and the dandi march, the British government arrested a lot of people to put a stop on the protests.
