Why do so few citizens vote?

Welp because the past election had the most idiotic candidates in my opinion there was Hillary Clinton who had a past with the FBI for sending emails to a country whom we have no alliance with and then there was Trump there is no words for this man just the candidates that we had say it all this election was the worst by far.
