Why might changes in the percentage of regional populations in extreme poverty not accurately represent changes in the number of actual people in poverty?

    Explanation:

    Regional population may be misleading in this respect since given the rapid rise in population, cuts in poverty percentage or rise in poverty percentage as regards regional populations will not nearly or accurately represent actual number of people in poverty. In other words drastic rise in population can cause inaccurate measures using regional population as a benchmark in measuring poverty level.
