    No

    Explanation:

No, I believe it has hurt American culture in many ways. The traditional interpretation of femininity and masculinity has affected American Culture by creating a stigma among society. It has created an imaginary line with rules about things that you should do and what you shouldn't do. It created this role play that everyone has their job within the society and that if you wanted to aspire for more then you couldn't because you were criticized. If someone wanted to be different or wanted to do something of the other sex, then it was looked down upon, and in most of the cases people bullied you until you feel bad even when you think about it. In conclusion, these traditions have created a huge division between men and women; where being different is penalize.
