Why are some necessities less expensive than unnecessary items?

    Answer: Some items are necessities and thus are required or utilized on a daily basis. These items are categorized as commodities which lie under daily need and thus flaring up their price or making them as expensive as other unnecessary items would be inhumane.

    Example, water is a necessity and thus is required on a daily basis. Therefore it cannot be valued at the same prices as gold or diamond.
