Chapter 11, Gathering at George Inn

Jane Eyre is a reserved an shy person up until she reaches George Inn and due to her increasing interest in Mr Rochester, goes an extra mile. He also wants her to feel included, not just as someone who came as a tutor but someone who is a part of the household.

This he does, by encouraging her to talk to people in the gathering and allowing her to become a part of daily chores of household.

She reverts to her old habits after she realizes certain things have been hidden about Mr Rochester which make her distrust him.
