    Explanation:

presidential elections use the Electoral College. To win the election, a candidate must receive a majority of electoral votes. In the event no candidate receives a majority, the House of Representatives chooses the president and the Senate chooses the vice president.

The Presidential Election or the United States Election process is actually a 51 separate contests. Each state including the District of Columbia administers its own election, which results in the great difference between the method of voting and types of ballots. The popular votes and the national aggregation of the votes are used less. The president and the Vice president both run together as a Ticket because voters elect them together.
