How do you register in order to vote as a member of the republican party?

An individual can register to vote as a republican through filing a petition so he/she will be recognized by the party officials.

The petition is then signed by a representative number of voters. This makes it possible for ballot access for the election.

In some cases a registered member may not necessarily vote for his party but this is fast becoming very rare.
