    Answer:The pregnant woman (mother of the unborn baby) and the father of the unborn child

    Explanation:

    The consent is required from both parents of the unborn baby since they share equal right on what can or can not be done on the unborn child as the parents.

    Should anything happen a father of the unborn child may sue the researchers along with the mother of the unborn child for the fact that they did not get his consent to go ahead.

    So it is always crucial to get consent from both sides.
