The concept is utterly psychological and usually has nothing to do with physicality. The development of feelings and emotions between the age 1 to 3 can be towards others faces and bodily warmth, others thoughts about the child, bodies, things, animals, etc. As a person goes on becoming emotionally developed, he becomes more sensitive towards the things around him. For the age group of 1 to 3, emotional development is fast but not as intense. Social development: The concept of social development refers to the progress or maturing of skills that an individual bears in the discipline of communication and interaction with others. For the age group of 1 to 3, social development can be said to be in its most primary stage. This development happens with practice and experience and is often observed to be a combination of intelligence and confidence irrespective of age. The children in the age group of 1 to 3 who exhibit faster social development usually grow up to become extroverts.
