    Explanation:

    Cartilage recovers gradually as it does not have enough blood to heal. By comparison to bone, cartilage is avascular, which means that no arteries can take blood into cartilage tissue. Chondrocytes are based upon diffusion to get nutrients. The cartilage is mended poorly compared with bone because of this shortage of blood supply to it. Perichondrium is called the cartilage fibrous sheath.
