    True.

    Explanation:

The Christians, who are followers of the religion of Christianity based off the teachings of Jesus Christ hold the belief that the blood of Christ on the cross is a salvation for their sins. Since God had driven men out of the Garden of Eden, the world had been filled with sin and everything bad. And for the salvation from Hell and eternal dam nation, God sent his only son Jesus Christ into the world, thus providing a safe passage for anyone who believes. But this sacrifice of Christ on the cross did not mean all can be saved, for only those who repent and fully believe in the resurrection of Christ, and that he did all these for our sins, can be saved.

Thus, it is true that the Christians believed Jesus' death and resurrection brings about salvation from sin, suffering and death (eternal death).
