The word religion was coined from the Latin word "Religio" refers to the socially accepted duties people engage in for the gods eg. sacrifice.

    2. Religious study enhances the development of interpersonal awareness essential for success in an earthly society. It enables one to build a better self esteem and acquire wisdom necessary for increased wellbeing for diverse world culture.

    3. The study of religion has evolved over the years due to cultural instances and industrialisation. Few religions agree about religious belief organisational structure etc.
