    Answer: The United States has passed several Acts of Neutrality, and has tried in every way to avoid foreign entanglements in order to recover from the Depression and Dust Bowl years.

    Neutral acts were signed in 1935, 1936, 1937, and 1939. As an attempt to prevent the United States from entering a war again.
