Ice skating was a new experience for Leonard. He found that he had trouble keeping up with his friends, who had skated many times. After his first evening on the ice a friend invited him to go skating again. Leonard flatly refused, insisting that "It's not for me-I stink at skating." Which of the following best describes the attribution Leonard is making to explain his failure at skating?

    Internal, stable

    Explanation:

Attribution theory is basically about how an ordinary person would blame internal or external causes for their behavior.

There are two types of attribution behavior can be explained:

Dis positional attribution: In this, the person causes internal factors for their behavior rather than external behavior. When we see another person then we cost them their personality trait that is called attribution personality error. For example beliefs, emotions, etc.

Situational attribution: In this attribution style the person causes the external situation for their behavior. For example, a student gets fail. Rather accepting that they do not prepare well attribute the cause on that paper was out of the syllabus.
