    Explanation:

    The clause for taxation was among the several accommodations that created unity among severally sections in the union. Most delegates termed the clause as being prerequisite for approval by the constitution. This however was a sigh of relief for exporters form the burden of taxes.

    The disproportionate of the burden voiced fear in the south region that the tax exports we lead to mechanism of overwhelming the economy. There was also tension that the taxes will be used in attacking traders.
