In what ways are the rational explanations of doctors related to folk explanations concerning the pu properties of some foods? What is tu? What are some of the tu combinations? Is there empirical evidence for their tu ness? Rather than relaying on medical science and experimentation, the Chinese often classified foods based on shared qualities. How is this "chunking" system potentially harmful to health? Despite full logical explanations, how did Chinese traditional beliefs managed to keep people relatively healthy? And how did it keep their food system diverse? What are iatrogenic pathologies (Google it if you don't know) ? How can Chinese medicine make valuable contributions to Western medicine in this regard?
